Jorma Puranen

Jorma Puranen uses water and windows/glass to make her photos look distorted. She runs the water down the window really fast so that the whole window is covered with gushing water. This then gives the effect that the landscape behind is painted. I really like her style of work because at first you think it's a painting but when you know how she has achieved it, you can see the beauty in it. I think the top photo has a spooky element to it as it is dark and there is moonlight shining through but i prefer the bottom one because i think it shows calmness and tranquillity and there is a reflection on the water which makes the photo look more interesting.
