Harold Edgerton has specifically done photos of water in
action. The photos that he takes are macro and on a very fast shutter speed.
The top photo of his is very interesting because you don't ever really see the
details of what goes on when a water droplet hits more water or a hard surface.
This photo is quite hard to achieve as you have to have a very good camera and
have it on an extremely high shutter speed. The bottom photo of his is also
very interesting and hard to achieve. You have to have a lot of skill to get
the picture that you want. When the water balloon pops, the water stays in the
same position for the smallest amount of time. This is why it is so hard to
capture the action. I really like his work because of how unusual it is and
the fact that you don't see these things with your own eye because it happens
just too fast and so the only way you can capture it is through video or photo.
